The Destruction of the Second Temple & the Rise of Rabbinic Judaism
This session focuses on the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE by the Romans and the dramatic shift to Rabbinic Judaism. Learn how Jewish leaders redefined community life, law, and worship without a central Temple, and how this new form of Judaism shaped the Jewish diaspora for centuries.

The Golden Age in Spain
We will take a journey to medieval Spain, where Jewish culture thrived under Muslim rule. We’ll explore the intellectual, artistic, and spiritual achievements of the Golden Age, as well as the eventual decline during the Christian Reconquista and the Expulsion of Jews in 1492.
