A memorial program with readings, prayers, music, and candlelighting to mark one year since October 7th. The guest speaker is Merav Mor Raviv, whose five family members were abducted by Hamas terrorists on October 7th.
Due to the difficult subject matter, this program is recommended for children 13 years of age or older, at the parent's discretion.
This program is in-person in the Sanctuary and will also be livestreamed.
Guest Speaker: Merav Mor Raviv
Upon finding out on October 7 that five members of her family from Kibbutz Nir Oz were taken hostage, Merav immediately began the fight for the release of her uncle Avraham Munder, her aunt Ruthi, cousin Keren, and Keren’s 9-year-old son Ohad.
Ruthi, Keren, and Ohad ((featured in this photo with Merav) were released from captivity in November 2023, but her beloved uncle Avram’s murdered body was found and brought back to Israel.
Merav has spoken worldwide and across the United States and has been featured on local Israeli channels, CNN and Fox News. She has met with politicians and diplomats, demonstrated, marched, and met with Jewish communities in the USA and with university students, continuing to do everything she can for the release of the remaining hostages.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
