The Madrichim Program
for 8th – 12th graders
The JLC Madrichim program is designed for 8-12th grade hamakom members and students in the community at large. Madrichim (classroom assistants) work in an JLC religious school classroom assisting teachers and engaging with students. Madrichim also have the opportunity to participate in unique leadership training workshops throughout the year. When regulations permit us to reopen our program on-site, there will be both virtual and in-person school options. Madrichim will have the choice of which setting they prefer.
Schedule:
Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays: 3:45 – 6:15 pm and select Sunday afternoons for leadership training workshops. The program follows the academic school year schedule.
HAMAKOM teens have the choice of receiving a paid stipend or community service hours as compensation. Non-members from the community are welcome and encouraged to apply, and are eligible for community service hours only.
